HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Honolulu police officer and his girlfriend are free on bail after being charged with multiple drug offenses.
Alan Ahn and Tiffany Masunaga were arrested Thursday in a drug raid on a McCully home.
Ahn, a ten-year veteran of the force, was charged with nine drug counts, while Masunaga faces eleven drug charges. Each was released Saturday after posting $40,000 bail.
This was the second time Ahn has been arrested in as many months. He was arrested July 13 for abuse of a family member but the Honolulu prosecutor's office declined the case because the victim -- Masunaga -- was not cooperative.
Ahn had his police powers restricted after the July arrest.
