The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii has held a San Francisco tour for corporate-level members, hosted by Alan Wong. The theme was cuisine and commerce, and they toured Google headquarters, where coincidentally they were doing a Hawaiian cuisine day with kalua pig and mac salad.

Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties counts 83 Oahu home sales in April for a million dollars or more. Eleven of them were actually for more than 2 million and two of those were above 4 million.

The Hawaii Cacao Fest is Sunday morning at Kailua Elementary - the organizers are the same people who bring you the Haleiwa Farmers Market at Waimea Valley, and that market is today, switching to summer hours, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

New at the Waikiki Beach Walk on Lewers - Beach Walk Cafe, a locally-owned French café with Bahn Mi, the classic Vietnamese sandwiches, and macaroons from La Tour Cafe.
