UH AD position receives 70 applicants

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After a month of being posted, the University of Hawaii athletics director has generated heavy interest.
The window to apply for the position has closed and UH chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman announced Thursday that as of yesterday 70 applicants have submitted their name for the post.
Interviews are set to begin early next month and finalists will be named a few weeks later.
Outgoing AD Ben Jay says he'll remain in the position till June.
