Bicyclist in critical condition after hit by truck in Nuuanu

NUUANU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 62-year-old male bicyclist is in critical condition after being hit by a pickup truck Sunday night, according to the Honolulu Police Department.
Police said at around 8:30 p.m., another man who was driving a pickup truck on Nuuanu Avenue was trying to turn left onto South Judd Street but struck the bicyclist. The bicyclist was then rushed to the Queen's Medical Center.
South Judd Street was closed for about two hours, but has since been reopened.
It's unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
