HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The invasive coconut rhinoceros beetle has been found on Oahu since Dec. 2013 – mostly in the Pearl Harbor-Hickam area. Recently, adult beetles have been found in Mililani and Diamond Head.

The Hawaii Department of Agriculture is asking Oahu residents to destroy mulch piles which may serve as a reservoir for the beetles and to examine their palm trees for CRB damage.
