HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Medical Examiner has been called to Ala Moana Beach Park after a man was been found dead near the Lester McCoy Pavillion.
The victim is believed to have been fishing as he was found wearing reef shoes and also had fishing gear nearby. There were no obvious signs of trauma and it is unclear if his death was in any way related to Hurricane Iselle.
The man's identification is unknown, but he is estimated to be between 50 and 60 years old.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
