Central Pacific Bank

's (CPB) branches on the Big Island will be closing early on Thursday, Aug. 7. The Hilo and Kailua-Kona branches will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and all other CPB branches will remain open for normal business hours.

The Hilo branch of

HomeStreet Bank

will close at 12 p.m. on Thursday. All other branches will remain open for normal business hours.

Bank of Hawaii

branches will be closed starting Thursday at 11 a.m. Call center operations, based in Kapolei on Oahu, will remain open to assist customers. Online banking and ATM services will continue to operate unless power interruptions are experienced.

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs

is closed all day Thursday.

Hawaii County Democratic Party rally

at the Mooheau Bandstand on Friday as well as the

through Friday, Aug. 8 in Maui County (Maui, Molokai, Lanai).

County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation

has announced the following closures of County facilities:

• ALL County swimming pools will close at noon on Thursday until further notice.
• Waiehu Golf Course will issue final tee times at noon on Thursday and remain closed until further notice.
• ALL County camping sites will be closed Thursday - Sunday.
• ALL community centers will be closed starting noon Thursday until further notice.
• ALL County beach parks will be closed all day Thursday until further notice.
