Two people in serious condition following Mililani car accident

MILILANI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 28-year-old female and 30-year-old male are both in serious condition following a vehicle accident that happened Friday near the intersection of Kamehameha Highway and Lanikuhana Avenue, according to paramedics.

Honolulu police officers said the male and female were both in the car when it hit a pole at around 8:45 a.m. They were taken to the Queen's Medical Center following the crash.

Police shut down Lanikuana Avenue for about an hour to investigate.
