Body of Maui diver recovered near Paia

The body of a 32-year-old Maui man was recovered late Friday night after a diving accident near Paia.
PAIA, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Authorities say Linho Pelep and his friends were diving off the waters of Mato-Kuji Soto Zen Mission when he went missing.
First responders were called out and found the Kahului man about 25 yards out. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
