HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii has been awarded the largest-ever private donation to fund oceanography research. The 40 million dollar donation came from the Simons Foundation. Dr. Edward Delong, co-director of the University of Hawaii Manoa Center for Microbial Organisms: Research and Education, is here on Sunrise with more details.
