KAPOLEI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Wearing a white under shirt, purple shorts and walking with a limp, Adrian Gamble was led into Straub Clinic and Hospital in downtown Honolulu Thursday morning.
The 42-year old was arrested in Kapolei by Hawaii State Sheriffs, Immigration agents and U.S. Marshals. He was wanted out of Galveston, Texas on a warrant for sex crimes against a child.
Gamble had been living on Oahu since at least December when Texas law enforcement tracked him to a home on Komohana Street.
The warrant is from September of 2008. He is accused of intentionally engaging in sexual contact with a 9-year old he was caring for at the time.
Gamble apparently complained about some kind of leg injury after his arrest and was taken to the hospital. He was checked out and then booked in at HPD until an extradition hearing.
