'Bows stun No. 10 Texas 6-1; second game of doubleheader rained out

AUSTIN, TEXAS - Scott Squier tossed a complete game and the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior baseball team jumped on Texas early in a 6-1 victory in game one of a doubleheader on Saturday at UFCU DischFalk Field.

Squier allowed just the one earned run on two hits to improve to 2-0. Jordan Richartz had two hits and Alan Baldwin had a pair of runs scored for the 'Bows who scored three runs in the second and third innings.

Stormy weather came through the Austin area and postponed game two of Saturday's doubleheader.

Play will resume on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CT (8:00 a.m. HT) with score tied 2-2 through seven innings.
