'Bows explode in fourth inning to take down Pepperdine, 6-1

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Pepperdine held a one-run lead over Hawaii heading into the fourth inning, but it wasn't even to stop the barrage of hits that would come as the Rainbow Warriors scored five runs in the frame to defeat the Waves, 6-1, Friday night at  Les Murakami Stadium.

The bottom of the fourth saw 10 UH batters, six hits and five runs go on the board. Multiple players had RBI's including Trevor Podratz, Austin Wobrock, Connor George and Jordan Richartz.

With the win Hawaii improves to 6-5 on the year and Pepperdine drops to 7-3.

UH now leads the series 2-1 and it wraps up tomorrow night at 6:05 p.m.
