Kuehu drops career-high 28 points in victory over LBSU

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kamilah Jackson didn't suit up for the Rainbow Wahine Thursday night, but it didn't matter as Shawna Lei Kuehu took over and dropped a career-high 28 points in a 82-71 rout of Long Beach State at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The senior guard also racked up nine boards and three other UH players scored in double figures.

With the win, Hawaii improves to 15-11 and 9-5 in the Big West.

The team is back in action next Thursday and will host UC-Santa Barbara.
