'Living History Day' celebrates the 70th anniversary of the USS Missouri launch

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The 70th anniversary of the launch of the USS Missouri is the centerpiece of "Living History Day on Ford Island" this Saturday February 1, 2014 from 8am to 4pm. Guests participating in the event will enjoy a variety of historical exhibits and activities including displays of military vehicles, memorabilia and weaponry, oral history presentations.
Admission is free to Hawaii residents, members of the military and members of the Battleship Missouri Memorial and Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor.
