Man, woman seriously injured after vehicle overturned

EWA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two people were seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident fronting Kahe Power Plant late Saturday night.

The driver, a 43-year-old man, and a woman, his 47-year-old passenger, were traveling at 50 miles per hour when they apparently sideswiped and then struck a barrier, causing their vehicle to overturn.

The incident happened just after 11 p.m.

Both were taken to the hospital in serious condition according to Emergency Medical Services.
