2 OCCC inmates disappear while on work release

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two Oahu Community Correctional Center inmates are on the run after they failed to return from a work furlough program.
Toni Schwartz, Department of Public Safety spokeswoman says 43-year-old Jason Gomes and 30-year-old Jeremy Casella were both suppose to return from their work furlough programs on Sunday.
Schwartz says that Casella left for work on Saturday and was supposed to return by 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
She adds that Gomes left for work at 5 a.m. Sunday and was supposed to return at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Casella is 5'11", weighs 161 lbs., and is currently serving time for second-degree robbery.
Gomes is 5'9″, weighs 209 lbs., and is also currently serving time for second-degree robbery.
If you have any information on their whereabouts you are asked to call police.
