Brush fire breaks out along Kahekili Hwy on Maui

MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - A brush fire broke out along Kahekili Highway on Maui Saturday afternoon.
An eyewitness at the scene estimates the blaze to be about two acres in size. The fire was near Waihee in a macadamia nut field.
Maui Fire Captain Lee Mainaga says the fire broke out at about 2:42 p.m. and involved about 24,000 square feet.
