HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A downtown restaurant damaged by a fire three months ago is open again with a new menu. Indigo resumed dinner service this weekend. Fire investigators said an electrical malfunction in a wall outlet sparked the blaze in March.
Chefs Dave Cruz and Bob McGee have helped to revamp the menu which includes dishes from the past as well as some new items.
"There has been an outpouring of people coming back to support us. We've been sorely missed and we feel wonderful to be able to open again," said owner and executive chef Glenn Chu.
Indigo held a soft re-opening earlier this month, resuming lunch and happy hour service. The restaurant is still in the process of refining the menu and working with the new staff.
