EWA BEACH, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu fire investigators are looking into the cause of a car fire in front of an Ewa Beach home early Monday morning.
According to officials from the Honolulu Fire Department, a white truck that was sitting in the driveway of a home on Ho'owalea Street somehow caught fire at around 2:20 a.m.
When crews responded, it took them about 20 minutes to completely extinguish the blaze, which did substantial damage to the car and also burned parts of the garage and a second car parked next to it.
Officials say firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading throughout the home.
No injuries were reported during the fire.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
