On Saturday, April 13, Mrs. East Oahu Keikilani Ho was crowned Mrs. Hawaii International 2013. Ho, a mother of three, received her award at the Kaimuki High School Auditorium in front of hundreds of spectators.

The pageant is scored in three sections: 50% is bases on the contestants platform, 25% on Evening gown wear and 25% on fitness wear. Ho's platform is in support of children with disabilities. Her oldest son Jordon (9) was born 15 weeks pre-maturely and suffers from several health challenges including partial blindness. Because of his ailments, Jordon was bullied at school. Ho's platform addressed the issue of bullying and those who are bullied because of disabilities. In 2011, Ho wrote and published the book The Little Big Miracle. The book tells her story with Jordon and is intended for parents to share with their kids to raise awareness about bullies.

Ho is now preparing to compete in the Mrs. International 2013 competition which will be held on July 19 and 20, 2013 at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Chicago, Illinois.
