HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Bruno Mars has landed his first No.1 album on the Billboard chart. The top-selling album for the Hawaii native and Roosevelt graduate is his sophomore album, "Unorthodox Jukebox", which was released Dec. 10.
"Unorthodox Jukebox" debuted at No. 2 and remained in the chart's top 10 for 11 weeks. It finally peaked at No. 1 following a promotion from Amazon MP3. The online retailer offered albums, including Bruno Mars' second album, for only $1.99.
Bruno Mars' first album, "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" was released in 2010 and reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
