It's been two years since the body of murder victim Amber Jackson was found on Kauai and the grassroots effort to find her killer is moving in a new direction.

Members of the Amber Jackson justice group have printed up hundreds of flyers and are putting them up all over the island.

That includes the remote area in Kealia where the 57-year-old's body was found two years ago.

The reward for information to help find her killer doubled in recent days to $20,000.

One of Jackson's close friends, Teri Ceplo, says her loss is just as painful today as it was two years ago.

"Amber was known as one of the kindest, sweetest funniest and honestly good souls you could ever meet. We're just shocked and grief stricken that this happened on our little island and the killer is still at large."

Kauai police say they are actively investigating this case. They're asking for anyone with information to call Kauai Crimestoppers at 241-1887
