HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The sunny weather Saturday was a welcome sight for thousands who lined the streets of Honolulu to take part in a colorful tradition.  The 96th Annual King Kamehameha Floral Parade broadcast live Saturday morning on K5 The Home Team, kicked off in front of Iolani Palace.  The Royal Hawaiian Band helped lead the procession.  It also featured floats, pa'u riders, and beauty queens.  One of the floats displayed a 400 XL aloha shirt.  It took 25 yards of fabric to make, and is currently in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest aloha shirt.
