USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier to stop in Hawaii
HONOLULU (AP) - The USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier is visiting Pearl Harbor on the way home to San Diego after a six-month deployment to Asia and the Middle East.
The ship, its 5,500 sailors, pilots and crew will arrive Tuesday.
Family and friends of Vinson sailors will greet the ship, including some who will stay aboard for the voyage from Hawaii to California.
