Hawaii tea crop called "world's best"

Some experts in London, known as the black tea capitol of the world, say a crop from Hawaii is the world's best.

At $4,800 per pound the Big Island Tea Company has sold its first batch of leaves to the luxury retailer, Harrods of London. Tea connoisseurs there called the tea stunning, distinctive and the finest black tea ever.

The leaves are hand-picked, hand-rolled and hand-fired by Eliah Halpenny, who owns Big Island Tea with her husband, Cam Muir.

You won't be able to buy the tea anywhere in Hawaii or on the mainland. Big Island Tea signed an exclusive deal with Harrods.
