Police searching for 2 suspects who robbed boy at knifepoint

WAIMALU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are looking for two men who robbed a 15-year-old boy at knifepoint in Waimalu Wednesday night.

According to police, the incident happened at about 7:20 p.m. at a bus stop fronting the Blaisdell Park on Kamehameha Highway.

Police say two male suspects approached the victim. One of the suspects brandished a knife, while the other verbally threatened the boy.

The suspects took the boy's i-Pod and wallet and fled in an unknown direction.

The boy did not sustain any injuries.

According to our partners at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, the suspect with the knife is described as 5'8" and about 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. The second suspect is about 6'0" and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police.
