Dan Grabauskas starts new role as HART CEO
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Starting Monday, the highest paid city employee officially begins his new gig with a salary, plus bonuses, totaling $322,000.
Daniel Grabauskas is the new CEO of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation.
Grabauskas was the general manager of Boston's train, which is the oldest and fifth largest system in the country.
He says the federal funds are still on track for the rail project, but admits public support for rail has slipped.
