Rail project survey work underway in Kalihi

KALIHI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Archaeological survey work for Oahu's rail project is scheduled for this week.

According to officials, work begins Monday along Dillingham Boulevard between Mokauea and Kalihi Streets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Work will also take place on Kamehameha Highway between Middle Street and Puuhale Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Crews will be identifying any potential historic sites on the planned route of the elevated guideway.
