HPD working to ID body found at Waimea Bay

HALEIWA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are trying to identify a body found on the beach in Waimea Bay.
According to officials, the body was found Thursday just before 6 p.m.
The man found was reportedly in his 20s.
Hawaii News Now has learned that a woman discovered him near the tree line. The woman also says police were on the scene for hours.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
Police have classified this incident as an unattended death.
