Office of Hawaiian Affairs names new Chief Executive
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Office of Hawaiian Affairs' Board of Trustees announced Thursday that Dr. Kamana'opono Crabbe will take over as the organization's new Chief Executive Officer.
Crabbe, who joined OHA's executive team in November 2009 and currently serves as Research Director, will succeed Clyde Namu'o as CEO. Namu'o retired late last year after ten years as the organization's top official.
"It's a great honor and privilege to be able to serve as CEO," Crabbe said. "I look forward to building on important relationships and addressing the critical issues facing our organization."
Crabbe is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
