Murder investigation continues for Louisiana man found dead on Maui beach

KAHULUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - New details are emerging about the murder of a Louisiana man on Maui.
According to Maui investigators, William Sublett, of Baton Rouge, was found dead on Christmas Day at a Kahului Beach with several head injuries.
The 57 year old's wife and several friends say he was a dedicated father of 11.
Hawaii News Now has learned Sublett was employed in Hawaii while he worked toward earning a state nursing license.
Sublett's wife and several children planned to join him in Maui at a later date. Instead, they are grieving the loss of their father and husband.
Police are continuing their investigation.
No suspects have been identified.
