Maui murder investigation continues

KAHULUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Maui Police Department continues their investigation of a 57-year-old man found dead on Christmas Day.

Investigators want to know who killed Williams Sublett, originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Sublett's body was found on Sunday on a Kahului Beach near Amala Place, just east of the Maui Wastewater Treatment Plant.

According to MPD, Sublett suffered multiple injuries to his head.

Sources tell Hawaii News Now Sublett appeared to have been homeless.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police.
