HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new postage stamp has a Hilo artist saying, "bonsai!"
The U.S. Postal Service revealed its 2012 Bonsai Stamps.
The stamps are the work of Hilo artist John D. Dawson, the same man who designed the recent rainforest stamps.
The five stamps celebrate the beauty of the traditional Japanese style of pruning.
They will be issued as forever stamps next year.
