Kalanianaole Highway reopened after fire hydrant breaks

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - All lanes on Kalanianaole Highway near Halemaumau Street have reopened after a fire hydrant broke Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, the incident happened at about 2:30 p.m.

Two lanes on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction were closed as Honolulu Fire Department and Board of Water Supply crews investigated.

The lanes were reopened at about 4 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
