HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)-Local boy Jack Johnson will be joining the Zac Brown Band and Maroon 5 as part of a new music initiative that lets fans buy songs,with the profits going to environmental causes. The Patagonia Music Collective kicks off today with more than 20 tunes by various performers. Each song will be available for 99 cents. Net proceeds will be donated to the environmental group of the act's choosing.

Thousands of fisherman are expected to hit the rivers in Missouri for the start of the trout fishing season. At Roaring River State Park many anglers woke up early to try their hands at catching trout before the rest of the crowds arrive. The day is so significant that schools have been canceled in many towns across the state.
