HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The budget battle is fierce on Capitol Hill. The president has just presented his budget for 2012, but this year's isn't even resolved yet.
Republicans are putting the pressure on President Obama to make deep cuts. They want to slash 61 billion dollars from hundreds of programs right away, and they're tying those cuts to a bill that funds the federal government.
If congress can't agree, the government could run out of money, early next month.
