Cause of death determined for Southwest flight attendant found dead in Waikiki

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Medical Examiner has determined that a flight attendant who was found dead in Waikiki in August died from suicide.

Jenny Lupton, 50-years-old from Cleveland Oklahoma, died from multiple injuries after falling from the 24th floor of Hilton Hawaiian Village where she staying after a work flight.

Her death sparked national speculation online and her family called for an investigation because they believe the circumstances surrounding her death are suspicious.

“We have no reason to think that Jenny would have intentionally harmed herself,” her nephew, Sam Lupton said.
