King of Aotearoa and royal family arrive on Oahu ahead of FestPAC

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The royal family of New Zealand is among the special guests who arrived in Honolulu on Monday ahead of the 13th annual Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture.

The King of Aotearoa is Te Arikinui Tūheitia Paki. He and his entourage were greeted at the Honolulu airport by the Royal Hawaiian Band.

Special Section: FestPAC 2024

The New Zealand delegation attending FestPac includes dozens of Maori artists, who will share their heritage with performances throughout Waikiki.

26 nations will be represented in all.

The celebration runs from June 6 to 16.
