Woman arrested for allegedly stabbing ex-boyfriend

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have made an arrest in an attempted murder investigation in the Waianae area, said Honolulu police officials.

Officials say 33-year-old Victoria Cureton was taken into custody Friday afternoon in connection to the stabbing of a 38-year-old man.

Police suspect her of stabbing her 38-year-old ex-boyfriend twice in the back after she showed up to his home uninvited.

Authorities say the pair allegedly broke up about a month ago.

Officials say the incident happened around 1 p.m. on Imipono Street on Friday.

EMS said they arrived on scene and treated a man with a stab wound.

The victim was transported to at trauma hospital in serious condition, said EMS officials.

Officials have not provided further details about the incident.
