Free COVID test kits still available for Kauai residents

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - More free COVID test kits are available for Kauai residents.

The county will be holding distribution points between March 28 and April 4.

About 15,000 test kits will be handed out by the County, in partnership with the Kauai District Health Office. There will be a limit of five tests per individual/household. They will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

The distribution schedule will be as follows:

Monday, March 28:

  • Kekaha Neighborhood Center –  9 a.m. to noon
  • Waimea Neighborhood Center – 1 to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, March 29:

  • Hanalei Neighborhood Center – 9 a.m. to noon
  • Kīlauea Neighborhood Center – 1 to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, March 30:

  • Hanapēpē Neighborhood Center – 9 a.m. to noon
  • Kalāheo Neighborhood Center – 1 to 4 p.m.

Thursday, March 31:

  • Anahola Clubhouse – 9 a.m. to noon
  • Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex in Kapa’a – 1 to 4 p.m.

Friday, April 1:

  • Kōloa Neighborhood Center – 9 a.m. to noon
  • Līhu’e Neighborhood Center – 1 to 4 p.m.

Additionally, the public is reminded that free test kits from the federal government can be ordered through this website here and delivered by mail.
