HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It is feeling nice and cooler at night with a drier air mass and then warm during the afternoons with the slower winds! A drier, more stable airmass is expected over the islands through mid-week along with weakening trade winds. A weak front may bring us some showers to Kauai on Thursday into Friday - depending on how close it gets. Some moisture will stretch over the north slopes of Kauai and reaching parts of our windward and mauka neighborhoods-- associated with the old, weak front.

Trades are expected to strengthen again late in the week into the weekend again.

Clouds and showers associated with an old front will reach Kauai about Thursday and possibly Oahu Thursday night or Friday, but showers should decrease over the weekend.
