HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The US Small Business Administration will be reopening grant applications for live venue businesses hard-hit financially by the pandemic.

Due to high need and demand, the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant application will reopen on Monday at 6 a.m.

Live venue operators or promoters, theatrical producers, live performing arts organization operators, museum operators, motion picture theater operators, owners and talent representatives are eligible to apply.

SBA also said businesses must have been in operation as of Feb. 29, 2020 to be eligible for the grant.

Eligible applicants may qualify for grants equal to 45% of their gross earned revenue, with $10 million as the maximum amount available for a single grant award.

SBA has reserved $2 billion for eligible applications with up to 50 full-time employees.
