‘Always can!’: Watch Billy Kenoi’s inspirational speech to HPU’s 2014 graduating class
Colleagues remembered former Hawaii Island Mayor Billy Kenoi as a passionate civic leader who cared deeply for the community he served.

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Colleagues are remembering former Hawaii Island Mayor Billy Kenoi as a passionate civic leader who cared deeply for the community he served.
Kenoi died Tuesday at the age of 52.
Many of those who spoke about Kenoi referenced a 2014 speech he gave to Hawaii Pacific University graduates.
Encouraging the graduates to chase their goals, he uttered the advice that stuck with so many: “There is no such thing as no can … always can!”
