HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Wahine basketball team suffered their third loss of the season Saturday, after a 51-43 loss to Cal State Bakersfield — falling to 0-2 in the Big West.
Despite the loss, UH’s Amy Atwell led the way with 23 points on the night, the only player to hit double digits for the Wahine.
For the Roadrunners, Andie Easley scored a team-high 15 points, helping CSUB improve to 4-4 on the season and 2-2 in conference play.
As for Hawaii, they fall to 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in conference, after the ‘Runners handed Hawaii a loss on Friday night.
The Wahine return to Manoa next week for a two-game series against Cal State Fullerton set for Friday and Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
