HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A woman suffered first and second degree burns in a house fire in Kaneohe Wednesday afternoon.
Honolulu firefighters were called just after 4:30 p.m. to a single-family on Waihee Road. When they got there, smoke was emanating from the windows.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control in about 10 minutes.
The sole occupant of the home, a 48-year-old woman, was able to escape the flames, but suffered burns to her face and arms.
She was transported to the hospital in serious condition. No word on what started the blaze.
