HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police have opened a first-degree attempted murder investigation following a drive-by shooting in Kaneohe on Wednesday.
Authorities said the shooting on Kamehameha Highway appears to have started as road rage.
The incident happened about 10 a.m.
The two victims — both 23-year-old men ― suffered minor injuries from broken glass after bullets blew out the passenger side window of a Toyota Tacoma and put a hole in the windshield.
HPD later arrested a suspect on the H-1 eastbound, just after the Stadium off-ramp. He faces charges of attempted murder and a drug offense.
A man and a woman who were also in the vehicle were arrested on drug offenses.
