HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - For a sixth consecutive day, Hawaii saw triple-digit gains of COVID-19 cases Sunday.
The total number of cases in the islands now stands at 23,341.
Oahu saw 128 new infections, 12 on Hawaii Island, 30 on Maui, nine on Kauai and 20 out of state residents.
There were also two new fatalities, pushing the death toll in the islands to 309.
Hawaii Department of Health officials said on Friday that 35,000 vaccines have been administered statewide. They also provided an update to how many doses are in -state. Click here to read more.
