HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Since August, Honolulu police have made 65 arrests for violations of the emergency order.

That’s according to Police Chief Susan Ballard.

Meanwhile, Ballard told the Honolulu Police Commission that officers have issued 44,000 citations for emergency order violations and 3,000 warnings.

None of the citations issued in the last month have been put into the the court system yet, which is a manual process, Ballard said.
