Hawaiian Airlines reports $144M loss in first quarter, warns more economic pain ahead

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaiian Airlines revealed Tuesday how hard the pandemic has hurt their bottom line.
Their first quarter earning report shows a loss of $144 million so far this year.

Compared to last year, revenue is down nearly 15%.
The airline projects that they’ll fly more than 90% below capacity through May compared to 2019.
